Membership Benefits - ELECTRICAL CONTRACTOR Magazine

Electrical Contractor magazine is the official NECA publication and a benefit for all NECA members. It is the only national magazine devoted exclusively to the needs of the power distribution and voice/data/video contracting industry. It tackles topics ranging from the National Electrical Code to the latest developments in fiber optics, voice/data, telephony, security, etc. In addition, it provides in-depth coverage of major industry issues such as energy de-regulation, labor shortages, and new technologies such as fuel cells, etc. New products are also a key area for the magazine: in the 12 issues printed in 1999, more than 2,400 new product and literature items were featured, as well as 800+ advertising pages.

This magazine also conducts market research for the industry, including every-two-years studies on Lighting (odd-numbered years) and a whole-industry snapshot - ''The Profile of the Electrical Contractor" -  (even-numbered years). In addition, the magazine has its own web-site (www.ecmag.com) where readers can access back issues as well as a daily industry news column.
