Membership Benefits - Convention & Expositions

NECA's Convention/Exposition gives contractors and their key employees the opportunity to attend educational programs, review the newest in electrical products, services, technologies and meet with fellow contractors. Programs are designed so that attendees can get an overall picture of the current electrical market as well as the future markets that will help them stay profitable. Time is also allotted for discussion among attendees on markets and market conditions. Contractors from all parts of the United States, Canada, and other countries attend the convention.

General session programs at the Convention include speakers on the economy, motivation, current political events, and the state of the industry. Seminars cover a wide range of subjects including money management, supervisory training, new technologies, the National Electrical Code, claims and stress management. Technical programs are presented by exhibitors and cover a wide range of information.

NECA has two trade shows-The NECA Show and the VDV Expo, each with its own showcase. The NECA Show provides contractors with the opportunity to see the latest equipment, tools, techniques and services. The VDV EXPO (Voice, Data, Video) specializes in new trends in high tech systems. A careful walk through the expositions gives contractors and their employees enough new information, leads and ideas to make the trip well worth the cost.

Various social events are also scheduled to give the attendees an opportunity to relax. The events include receptions, tours, entertainment, and lifestyle education programs.
