IBEW and NECA Partnership
NECA's tradition of cooperation with the International
Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) continues to foster
an atmosphere of harmony between labor and management that is
the envy of the rest of the construction trades. The
partnership between NECA and the IBEW guarantees that you will
get the professional skills of the best-trained workers in the
electrical industry. AECA as the local chapter of NECA has
developed and continues to foster an excellent working
relationship with the IBEW Local 236.
Nationally, NECA and the IBEW have established the National
Labor-Management Cooperation Committee (NLMCC), a group
working to develop the highest level of cooperation between
IBEW locals and signatory contractors. It's a national effort
to promote union contracting, and the NLMCC will assist local
committees with marketing support and research.
